this song is amazing- it makes you think about the fact that everything we need in the world is here around us, yet there are people are starving and dying everyday because they are denied it. the phrase about buying back this helpless place is so true- if you think about it, why do we need to pay for the land that was here for us to begin with? |

yeah i thought the first line was waves, not sways.
but, anyway, this is an AMAZING song. one of my favorites. i was reading the postings for this and someone said that they used to groan when their dad played Bruce, and that was the SAME with me... but now i'm a little older and i can appreciate it much more. why was i born in this generation when i should have been in my teens in the 70's???? THAT was the time to live. |
