| Tool – 10,000 Days (Wings Pt. 2) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

No, you're immature because your bitching about how some people like their new stuff, while some people, yourself included, enjoy Tool's earlier stuff. Just accept the fact that you're not going to change peoples' opinions. I am sure many people agree with you though. And about the shirt. Hahahahaha. People buy the shirt because they like the band. And in doing so allows them to have more money to create more music. Tool is commercial, but isn't every band. But they are not commercial to the extent RHCP is and other bands and artists. You keep your opinion to yourself. And we'll keep our opinions to ourselves. |

Simplify. Simplify. Simplify. This song is about how we idolize violence on tv and in the media but when we witness it first hand we can't handle it. We need violence. |

This song is an obviously about the relationship he holds with his son and how he would give up everything for him if he had to. The first part is stating that he is living comfortably and he seems to have everything in the world. But if he was going to lose his son, he would give it all up, for one more day. As for the 3rd stanza i think he is stating how he almost lost sight of what meant most to him, his son. At the "Damn My Eyes" part he is yelling this because he hates how his relationship with his son may have been gone, and divided. That's why they must breathe in union so their relationship can last one more day The last part deals with the fame and how it is a leech/poison to some, and he must not give in to it. As for the title; Maybe his son liked watching pee wee's playhouse, and his son will know what that means. |
