| Well someone earlier said that it was about crossin the Snoqualmie pass from WSU...WSU is on the other side of the state in Pullman, I'm pretty sure he's not coming from WSU... It makes me think of Western Washington tho, maybe coming from UW...Anyway I believe this song is obviously about having sex in his car...I think he says 'I've become what I've always hated when I was with you' because their relationship was just about sex and he got tired of it and I also think this girl is his ex. ok cya | |

ok first off, this is the best song on Plans. To me, the song is about a breakup where the girl becomes bored of the guy. And now, he has to get past all the pain and know that there is someone else out there for him. It doesn't say 'home space', it says 'home's face'... I think that means when you're in a relationship, you forget about the life before the relationship sometimes (like your friends and what not)... and then 'home's face:how it ages when you're away' means that when you've been gone, you kind of forgot about your friends because you were so into this girl, and they grew a seperate way apart from you. And now, the guy is trying to go back, but he's realizing there is no going back, you can't just pick up where you left off. And he realizes he has to start new. That could also be one of the reasons it's so hard for him to get 'out on the street'... Overall, this song is just amazing. cya |
