Yeah, scooter recorded this on the same night he met Atlantic Records. He laid this track down with Ugly, and showed them to the producer. The guy loved them, and they were signed. Then the whole Grundig name issue came up, and Grundig became Cold. |

This song is actually about Scooter's old girlfriend's baby several years back (Not Scooter's baby) who died from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) two weeks after birth. He wrote it for her. |

This song reminds me of how a lot of my friends are druggies and drunks, partying it up all the time. I've always felt that I don't belong with them. Scooter is saying the exact same thing. If you find where he says it on the cold fan board, they have it. He says that there are times where he "didn't want to be seen as too drunk or too messed up... There are situations where we all feel we don't belong." He recognizes that he's had problems and he's been fucked up in the past and is regretful, which is where this song comes from. |

Anytime you care about someone, for example a friend, you want them to be able to come to you with their problems like you would them. And when they act a way you wouldn't expect, or do something you frown upon, more often than not, it is upsetting. This song sounds like that. If someone can't come to me with their issues and hides them all the time, trying to be strong, I feel like they are so distant and I wonder more about myself and what I can do to help. It feels good to know that some people actually depend on me to help them out when they need it, and vice-versa. So it's kind of hurtful when a good friend doesn't want to come to you when they need help. This song sounds like you're finally realizing that you're not the same as someone else and you have to accept it. Get past the facade that everyone has the same problems and deals with them the same way, and learn that they will do it a different way and sometimes you may not like it, but you have to get on with your life instead of wasting it dwelling on it. |

This song, to me, reminds me of every time I've ever felt I don't belong in a particular crowd. Everyone's doing their own thing and I'm always lost in the world, so I've just felt that maybe it would be better if I never existed. I've actually hurt people when I found what I want, so I find that this song bears some relevance to that. For some time, I just wanted to hide and pretend I never existed, just so I wouldn't get hurt and I wouldn't hurt other people. This song makes me think of that. Every time I feel I don't fit in, every time I fuck up. |
