| Peter Gabriel – Family Snapshot Lyrics

"all turned quiet, I've been here before, a lonely boy hiding behind the front door...the fans have all gone home...I need some attention...I shoot into the light."
John Hinkley waiting inside the Dakota entry for Lennon, the other fans have all left, he's been there before..."he shoots into the light."
Lennon = "the light", an inspiring icon. |

This is of of my faves from Bowie. Great vocal, great song, great arrangement. I think everyones comments are spot on. I'm a Christian and not in the least offended because this is pure art, this song could mean many things. It is thought provoking, like all great art should be. I'm not offended by art. I like to listen to hardcore metal, post-bop jazz, and gangsta rap. Then I watch TBN, and television evangelists. I'm not offended, I'm inspired by this song. |

One of the songs that got me hooked on Maiden, such a cool song! It's about where we are gonna go when we die. And how no one really knows for sure.
I love this song, it is soooo much fun when they do it live. They bring up people fronm the audience during this song every night.
"heaven can waaay-ayyy-aait!....waaay-ayyy-aait!...waaay-ayyy-aait!...heaven can wait for another day!" |

| Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics

"If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now,
It's just a spring clean for the May queen."
this whole section is sung strangley. This is delieberate because this is where the hidden satanic message is.
really?
i thought the message was when they say "there's still time to change the road you're on"
when played backwards here it says: "here's to my sweet satan"
which i believe was only meant to shock and cause this type of discussion. |

| Black Sabbath – Disturbing The Priest Lyrics

|
actually it's : "the devil and the priest can't exist if one goes away."
but i listen to it stoned with the lights very low and a few friends late at night smokin' dope. then it sounds like:
"the devil and a priest givin' 50 young girls away." |

I always thought it was: "the devil and a priest givin' 50 young girls away." (sounds more evil)
ian gillian sung so well on this album that roger glover put deep purple back together and it's thus the only one he did with sabbath. |

| T.I. – What You Know Lyrics
|
|
He does indeed make mention to Li'l Flip...T.I. is bemused by the fact that Flip would be so outspoken as if to threaten violence against him and yet Flip does nothing, not even to drawing a weapon. T.I. cleverly uses sarcasm to taunt Flip as a "scary dude", "THE WAY YOU WUZ YELLIN' I THOUGHT YOU'D PULL OUT A GAT AND HIT FOUR OF MY CREW. T.I. is amused at Flip theatening without doing anything to back it up. T.I. says Flip has the people who see him on television fooled by having such a threatening rap and yet never any weaponry is fired to back up the threat. T.I. reminds Flip that all the attitude is thus unecessary and Flip should tone it down or he will be seen in a news report soon as the victim and not the perpetrator. |
