| I think that looking at the album as a whole it could be seen as a concept album about the story of a vampire. The crimson is the part in the story in which he fully turns into a vampire. others have mentioned allusions to this like the line about changing into something the mirror doesn't recognize and being an anne rice novel come to life. At this point he's still trying to deal with the situation, and he expresses his strong feelings of hope with lines like just live and breathe, try not to die again. Thats what i think. could be comletely different, but i like the idea of it being a concept album. | |
