Well said sinnedoh about the standing for yourself, you should stand for yourself and standing for something is what this song is about But i think to say that no one cares about whether the song is religious or not is a little bit to much becuase as a christian i am very interested to hear what people have to say about whether this song is religious or not. Wow powerful song! caught my attention! I would like to say that dustin is a very clever lyricist, and i think that's whats causing the problems on this forum! I personally am a Christian and believe that this song is about the povety in Africa. Dustin is very obviously very passionate about the injustice hence invisblechildren.com! I think that this song is a rallying call for everyone to get up and do something, it's all in the line 'Image of the Invisible' I think the invisible refers to two things, God and the Poor. And both at the same time, i think that's why it's so clever I believe for christians that this is a call to stand as children of God, the lyrics spoke to me that way! I also believe for people who don't have faith then they can find a call to stand anyway, stand for injustice. The call is the same for both Christian and non alike! agree? So find encouragement people and for those in the states then get invloved! If anyone disagrees with this then i would like to say that my views are not worng as yours are not wrong. The idea of this website is to state what lyrics mean to you, this is what they meant to me. |
