| Bring Me the Horizon – Pray For Plagues Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| there are biblical refrences to the ten plagues brought upon egypt for the pharaoh not obeying God's word. i doubt this is what the song is about though. i think its specifically about one girl who has lost everything and gone down the pits. she prays for dooms day to be brought so she can leave this world. or about someone hating the world today asking the Lord to bring plagues to change it. considering bmth isnt a christian band i doubt they would make a song about a story in the bible | |

| Fall Out Boy – Thriller Lyrics | 18 years ago |

heavy part is called a BREAKDOWN haha. more common in hardcore music. pretty much stoked me out when i heard it and actually made me get into fall out boy. song is bout their rise to fame. its 3's across the board, like theyre being judged. then by the fall they were cover stories such as in the rolling stone. the song is mostly about their fans that have stuck through with them the whole time even when everybody put them down. "Crowds are won and lost and won again But our hearts beat for the diehards" |

such a beautiful song im going through these emotions right now really gnarly too i know exactly how he feels it sucks He loves this girl but he messed things up and now is wanting more than anything another chance to make things right the things he should have done and said he thinks that if he had another chance things would be perfect again because he knows now what he should have done all along but its been too long to get another chance i think hes the car or his actions which ended things i think he broke it off and that was the car that hit her "Everyday just passes now, and I can’t count them on my own And your face is never real " those lines stand out the most to me he cant function normally without her and her face is never real because he never gets to see her just in his imagination |

why wouldnt someone with bulimia be going to the bathroom to throw up why wouldnt someone who does cocaine do it with friends at the party. i dont think cocaine would be something to hide at an actor's studio i think bulimia would |

It is both about eating disorders and drugs "You're looking skinny like a model With your eyes all painted black" is reference to bulimia and the painted black eyes has o reference to drugs. drugs make your eyes darker sommetimes but obviously he says painted black meaning she put on makeup and threw up in the bathroom. two things to make you appear more attractive to others. if you listen to a lot of connor obersts he talks about his depression and self examination amnd loathing at the end of his song an attempt to tip the scales on fevers and mirrors. and i cant remember what song but he mentions he has an eating disorder and its a pretty well known fact. so its about all. everyone has to realise that connor is a complete genius. he doesnt make his songs obvious. "But me, I'm not a gamble You can count on me to split The love I sell you in the evening By the morning won't exist" hes saying you can count on him to leave. hes basically admitting hes just trying to get into the girls pants. is not really about the drugs or tthe eating diordertmore about the woman hes trying to get with "The mask I polish in the evening By the morning looks like shit" obviously the mask is who hes pretending to be and he lookss like this great guy but in the morning when he leaves he looks like an asshole connor never mentions he has a drug problem but he suffers depression immensely which eating disorders often come with. lastly pardon my typing im in a full cast on one arm so its pretty hard to type right |
