| just because they don't want to be labeled as a christian band doesn't mean their not christians and singing about god. from what i've heard their christian people and that could definately influence their lyrics. i think thats what theonethatis was getting at. | |
| House of Heroes – You are the Judas of the Cheerleading Squad Lyrics | 18 years ago |

i was super confused by this song and i only had guesses as to what it meant. but i think swimingforward is completely right about the meaning. i think that in the first verse the machinary represents sin and how it has such a strong hold on a person (All this machinery was never gonna let you go) and its also talking about how you cant be free from your sin until you come to that place where you feel broken (Break to heal and heal he will) and once you come to that place you can begin healing and growing (Fragile growing...And now he'll learn to feel He'll learn to heal). when it talks about your ghosts and how you should teach them to sing i think it means that the ghosts are the bad things that you keep inside of you and that haunt you, but you should teach them to sing, or learn to talk about them with other people and then you'll be from them. |

about the whole "one day we'll drink to this and say remember when we died...." i agree with ubergeetar about it meaning "when we look back on this" not necisarilly meaning that they're drinking, its just a saying. and i always thought that he was thinking about him and whoever he's singing to being in heaven and looking back on how they died and maybe its about the second coming? "we went out in flames"? or maybe hes just saying they lived a good life? im not sure. |

| The Classic Crime – The Coldest Heart Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"The coldest heart can be brought to life When it's thrown into the fire of goodbyes" i always thought this part was saying that even someone with the coldest heart will still feel something when some leaves them or dies or whatever you want to interpret the "fire of goodbyes" as. |

| The Classic Crime – I Know the Feeling Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i love the lyrics of this song. especially the part that says "my hearts a hole that needs to be constantly filled with love" and the part that says "i know the feeling of being all alone, so lets drink to the fact that we're not" i can totally relate | |
| The Classic Crime – All the Memories Lyrics | 19 years ago |

i absolutely love this song. i think its about his old friends or an ex thats been mean to him but no matter what they do to him he still loves them. "I drink your poison and say I'm still not going away I'll swallow all your bombs and grenades And love you like a tsunami wave" |

| how is this a metaphor for us and our relationships with god? i dont see it. | |
| Hawk Nelson – Letters To The President Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| well this is a Christian band so im thinking that they're against abortions. i never thought of the lyric that way tho. i always thought it meant that the jail time was too long. i know that sounds weird but somewhere in the bible it says that if you hate someone your murdering them in your heart. and so i think the band means that we've all messed up before, we've all hated someone, so its not fair that just because you killed someone you have to be in jail for life? that sounds weird now that i typed it out. and also the same sex marriage thing- i think they're against that to, being as they're a christian band. | |
| Hawk Nelson – Everything You Ever Wanted Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i think this song is about divorce. his parents split up and he feels like its his fault. ("It took the seasons going by to know its not my fault"). because he felt guilty he tried to be perfect. but he still resented which ever parent that left him. he says "i tried to be everything but you." he didnt want to end up like him/her. | |
