Personally, I think all of the fighting is a tid bit childish and it needs to be stopped. the reason for this site is to discuss lyrics and their meanings...and if you want to fight, then do it somewhere else. the song is talking about war, in my opinion. maybe this is because ive enlisted into the us army and have "army on the brain" but to me he is saying that he knows the war is going nowhere and hes just "marching along LIKE A GOOD SOLDIER DOES" He is just obeying orders although he knows its getting nowhere and nothing good can come from it. |

Fuck all the people who say that atreyu changed and isnt good anymore...obviously you dont know good music when yoiu hear it. so they play a little different and maybe sound a bit different, but they are good and have BEEN good since their first album, and they ALWAYS WILL BE GOOD. fuck all you haters!!! |

wow, sure are alot of comments on this song lol...um, is iti because its so self explainitory? maybe thats it, oh well, i just thought id say something because theres not too much on here. this song is great and i love it because its a catchy tune and ICP is insane (no way lol) i love their lyrics...they make me smile with all the talk of killing and dead bodies and stabbing and knives, ect. yea im just messed up like that...i get happy and smile ever time i hear ICP THEY FUCKING RULE MAN! |

okay...i think this is my second post...im new to this, but here it goes... i think that this song is basicaly what everyone else says...everyone beat me to it lol i think that this person is afraid to lose someone, not because they already lost someone, but because what they have now is so great, so astounding that they never want to lose it or give it up. and they are thinking about death...and not wanting to go "...the day will come but i dont want to leave you..." i just think that this is one of the single most best songs that i have ever heard due to the power of the lyrics because i understand...i am in love with someone and i think this way, also. avenged sevenfold is definately a kick ass band that i look forward to hearing more and more of....and i am the proud owner of their cd's. and by the way, how can you seize something thats already ended? that doesnt make sense to me people say that its about losing someone...but how can you seize something thats ended already? maybe im dumb but i dont understand...okay thats enough...sorry:) |
