This song is love. And yeah, Siman, I thought it might be about Baez too for awhile but I'm pretty sure its about Sara. I've been researching Dylan for years and I believe at this point in his life, he and Baez were on fine terms and I believe most of "Blood on the Tracks" was written about Sara. One of his most open, intricately written, heartbreaking and hopeful albums and its definitely one of my favorites. And for the meaning of this song, check out Melancolley's post. Bob Dylan is so much love. I can't even express how much his music means to me. He's amazing. |
