I think maybe shes in a relationship with someone where the other person has always been there to nurture and solve her problems but she now feels she wants to repay it by listening to their problems. "And I hush my urge to cry, cry" This line could be about her holding back her own emotions for once, so she can listen to the other persons. |

Personally I think this is about a higher spirit of godly being but not the Jesus god. The white light thing could be about Wicca, plus angels could be too. However I am open to other interpretations, I like to know how this is related to God: "And you whisper you love me And I begin to fade Into our secret place" |

I think this is about a girl who has an eating disorder, and wishes she was perfect but can no longer stand what its doing to her. This would be especially relevant of she had bulimia: "All my efforts to clean me Leave me putrid and filthy" See? Then of course she is talking to her boyfriend when she says "And how can you look at me When I can't stand myself" As she has no self esteem. Lastly, I think that the "Perfect in weakness" means that yes she may be skinny and beautiful looking to everyone else, but it has only been attained by her weakness - an ED. Thats all I have to say |
