| i've heard charlie used as a slang word for cocaine before. AND I think that this song IS about cocaine, and i'm going to just say it, but it could possibly mean that anthony kiedis is having another relapse. i mean, he's relapsed many times before, what should stop him from doing it again. and he has left hints on other albums before that he was having a relapse. also in vietnam, charlie was the "enemy", but I don't know i'm probably reading way too far into this song. it probably really is about creativity and inspiration or whatever, but it's just an idea to think about! | |
