I love the beginning of the song...that whole "hello, how are you?" part. This song kind of reminds me of the end of the movie The Break Up (Jennifer Aniston, Vince Vaughn). |

I think this song is so realistic. That whole part about being in 8th grade is so true, when everyone's too nervous to tell someone how they feel so they get their friends to do it. And when it's time to break up, yet again, they get the friends to do it. Then years later the guy realizes he still likes her, and the only reason he broke up with her in the first place was because he was so young and naive. Most people that young aren't comfortable in relationships. |

I think the guy realized he wasn't actually in love with her. He felt comfortable in a relationship with her, like that he could tell her things and wasn't afraid to be affectionate and all that. However, when they broke up, he realized he didn't actually love her...he just wasn't afraid to be with her. There is a difference between being comfortable with someone and being in love. |
