It's so hard to find a good song that isn't over in 2 seconds or sounds like bubble gum pop these days. I love the intro. I think it brings out the best in DCFC. It's not only about the lyrics but the music this band is making. The beat is what makes a song and this one is perfect. Undoubtedly DCFC is the most intelligent lyrically but the beats are perfectly fit into place. I am never disappointed with them. As for the intro again, patience is a virtue. Enjoy the music as a whole, not just the lyrics. |

Definitely top 5 favorite songs of my life so far. I'd like to believe it is about trying to accept growing old because this song breaks my heart in my current situation...having to do with letting go of someone you love. I guess figuratively speaking, in both situations, you are letting go of someone you love. |

When I hear this song the meaning changes to whatever mood I'm in. It could be a happy song or it could be a sad one. I was asked to analyze it once, to just pick an idea of what I thought it might mean and this is where my mind led me. I think it could mean an ex-boyfriend visiting his ex-girlfriend in rehab (hence the name tag and gaudy apt complex). She had broken up with him before deciding to go to rehab. So when he goes to visit her he realizes he was worth leaving because that was the only way for her to get better.
It's definitely a long shot but...hey, that's just my interpretation. I do agree with the others as well. They make perfect sense. :) |

No one has commented yet?! That's amazing since this song is just that. I had a hard time getting a hold of a copy but it was worth it. I think it means you can never really run away from your problems or your past. There are always memories and thoughts in your mind that are impossible to get rid of.
