This song is amazing, simply amazing. I feel as if he is writing about how we all talk about doing something, changing the world but we never do. And he points out that musicians do this the most, through rebeliious songs that dont actualy do anything and thats why he repeats that over and over again. The end of it is then a call to arms, a call to the revolution. I don't know this is all tainted by my own belief in revolutions and the world. |

I have always seen this as an intro into the whole album. I feel it is Cerpin telling you to look at his story and just talking about himself. This really comes in, in the lyric "I need sanctuary in the pages of this book" That is him saying he needs to show his story, to find saftey in this book. The line "I'm not the percent you think survives " introduces him as a statistic, he will be the one to die, part of the 10% of all whatever commits suicide or such. The end of the lyric is then him talking about his drug addiction. And it finishes with a lyric telling people to hate him. I dunno this is just my crazy ramblings |
