I think this is a song about a girl that is leaving, for whatever reason right after the summer. The guy knows it. He tries not to show her, but she knows what he is thinking too. He doesn't want her to leave, he isn't leaving. He knows when she leaves he won't have anything but a slender thread of friendship, rather than the love they have for each other. You should still hang on to the memory and to the friendship. Also I think this song ellicits a lot of emotion, kind of downtrodden, pretty much how you would feel if this was happening to you. |

Just a small thing, instead of "going" he says gotta, but whatever. Also, pretty easy to get, however I think these lyrics are really visual, he describes everything so you can really see whats happening. Not only that but it is pretty optimistic. |

| This is the best song on the album as far as catchiness goes, I really think they have gone down hill and it's too bad, but that is the progression of every band, my guess is they take a lot of time off after this. | |
