| Heart – All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is about a skank who meets some mysterious loner guy who gives it to her good -- the way that her current boy couldn't give it to her. Oh, and she was so much of a skank that she went and got pregnant -- mysterious dude was probably like "Hey, I probably should throw on a rubber", then she's like all, "No, go ahead and have a good time...I'm on the pill". This poor guy, trusting her, does his business and she sends him on his way. What they don't tell you in the song is that five years later, the girl has a change of heart and they all go on Maury Povich and her husband hears the dreaded words: "You ARE NOT the father!" Then, all the homies in the audience start hootin' and hollarin' and the skank goes running off the stage and then Maury, knowing she can't hide from the cameras, goes after her to further her embarrassment. |

| To me this song is about a hot dancer at The Penthouse gentleman's club in Vancouver back in 1993. | |
| Billy Joel – Tell Her About It Lyrics | 19 years ago |

This song is a step-by-step guide to becoming a pussy-whipped little bitch boy who no chick will ever respect. The girl in question in this song is a high maintenance passive aggressive cunt. Cut your balls off and hand them to her in a jar if you want to be only half as pathetic as this song advises. It is good to be honest and open, but this song advocates castration. |

| Lee Greenwood – God Bless the U.S.A. Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Army132: I appreciate your service to this country, but I think your hostility towards me based on my opinion of Mr. Greenwood and his song is misguided. As you are serving in the Army, I can trust that you are bright enough to notice the hypocrisy in Lee Greenwood's lyrics based on his actions during the Vietnam War. Why do you suppose he sings that he would "gladly stand up next to you" when he didn't do so when he had that opportunity? Is he a liar? You state, "I fight for you every day . so you suck...". Your service and whether or not I suck are in no way related. And, since you say you fight for me, I assume that you are not in Iraq, because as you know, Iraq never posed a danger to our country. If anyone, you should be fighting for your buddies. Keep each other safe. |

This is a great example of storytelling. It's like an oral tradition set to the beat. As Homer told the Iliad and Odyssey to speak of the Trojan War, Dr. Dre and Snoop use "Nothing but a G' Thang" to tell a few romanticized stories of the monotony of gangsta life. I think we can all agree with Snoop's positive message about condom usage when one is about to "dig up a bitch" and reminds us that NO pussy is "good enough to get burnt" while one is up in it. Contrast that lesson in personal responsibility with the nonsensical, ineffective "abstinence only" message preached by idiots. |

| Toby Keith – Courtesy of the red, white, and blue (angry american) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

This song sucks. So does Toby Keith. He represents all that is wrong with the "Git-R-Dumb", inbred, knee-jerk, nonthinking, conformist flag-waiving Hometown Buffet ignorant segment of our otherwise great country. The best commentary regarding "Courtesy..." was on VH1 when it was included in the worst songs ever. To paraphrase: "Toby Keith was so outraged by 9/11 that he ran out and joined the military...no, wait, he wrote a song" |

Every time I hear this song, particularly the following verses: "And I gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today." I get the chills because I'm reminded how Lee Greenwood chose NOT to stand up next to the troops serving in Vietnam. Instead, he stayed home. This song sucks. |
