I never really made the connection that this could be about Aliens, even thought the single cover has a UFO on it. To me, this is about how every hate, love, problem, Pleasure, Discrimination and difference between us all is put aside as the whole world amides an eclipse. You may hate everything about the person standing next to you, Their beliefs, Their ideas, their way of life, but in the presence of such an amazing wonder of the universe, it really doesn't matter in the slightest, Its about unity. When i saw it live, everybody in the room must have been feeling the same way. Not a single person had their hands by their side. they were either held at arms reach, embracing the moment, or Holding together with the person next to them, Who they had not met prior to the gig. Truly amazing. |

I must Change What i said before. The album was not about space. I truly forgot about how the final song was about Macbeth. That said. I see no reason to dispute that this song is about space travel. "The suns Seas" is a term ocasionally used to discribe the space surounding the sun filled with high levels of radioactive activity. The quote mentioned by Eienstien, (mentioned earlier) was a reference to the machanics of the world, but of course, still referes to the universe. As for space being desolate. what we currently KNOW of it yes. But this song is not about what we know. it is about what and how we dream. These are his visions, his perspective and his ideas of journying to another world, more vibrant and beautyful than our own......not a document of the traveling. as that would talk about the vast nothingness. |

| Although all the references to satan seem to be the clear focus of the song (which it could very well be) I belive the song to be about a character from stephen kings novel series the dark tower named the crimson king. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_King This character has a resemblence to satan in his apearence and demeanor. Thus it is hard to decide which of the two it could be. | |

The whole album is about Space. This song is about the journey to our "NEW EARTH" "Purple gold and blue, Living colours every hue, Flowers in the garden of the gods" That is visions of a planet that we would live on. one more beutiful than we can imagine. |

this song is about halford carear after judas priest. HE is the son of judas. The first verse is about him leaving judas, realising that he had within himslef to do so. The second verse is his solo carear starting. the third verse is confirming that solo is how he wants go. But of course now, he realises that priest is where he belongs. |
