I just adore Echoes. I don't know if anybody else feels the same way as I do about it, but trying to analyse it makes me feel like it loses some of its mysetery and wonder, having to be explained. It's at its most enjoyable when you're not trying to pick it to pieces. I love WYWH as well (the song, I'm talking about) but having read so much about it kind of detracts from the experiences I had of it when I was younger, also before I'd ever played it on guitar. Sometimes songs just have to be admired. Also, I've noticed the strange similarity between echoes and across the universe. hehe I think I drove my beatles friends mad by playing it over and over to them. |
