Red Hot Chili Peppers – Cabron Lyrics 19 years ago
Love the guitar solo at the very beginning, I wish that would've been carried more throughout the entire song.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – By the Way Lyrics 19 years ago
It's not "Down in the gutter", it's "Dani the girl was"
"Dani" is referred to in Californication as the teenage mother, and in the new album "Stadium Arcadium" on the song "Dani California" It's sort of a trilogy.

Californication
By The Way
Dani California

Read the lyrics in order, they tell a story.

John Lennon – God Lyrics 19 years ago
Most people don't realise how huge it was when John Lennon stated "I don't believe in Beatles", after The Beatles broke up, it was just very shocking for anyone to say that, nontheless John Lennon. What the song meant (In my opinion), was to only believe in what is here, right now in front of you, which for him was Yoko (Yoko and me, And that's reality)
He also goes on to say "The dream is over". I would assume he is referring to simply being with The Beatles, and now that they had broken up, the dream was over.

Nonetheless, a very good song, very touching and epitomizes alot of peoples feelings after the dissoulution of The Beatles.

The Clash – (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais Lyrics 19 years ago
The first part was written by Joe Strummer after he went to a reggae concert featurin "Dillinger, Leroy Smart, Delroy Wilson..." He expected the concert to be really political, but it sounded like commercial pop, so he was upset. Then the song goes on to talk about wealth distribution in the UK, and mentions Hitler, referring to the rise of facism in England. Basically, this song is talking about alot of the problems in England at that time. (In Strummers opinion). This was also one of Strummers favourite songs by the Clash, and was played at his funeral.
