Daughtry – All These Lives Lyrics

This song is pretty amazing. It's obviously about child abduction, but at the same time, it doesn't sound like it's about random kidnapping. The line that goes "Broken homes from seperation, don't you see it's violation?" Make it seem like it's a deranged father kidnapping the child from the mother who got sole custody after the seperation. *shrugs* That's what I got from it. I'm wondering if this was written from some sort of personal experience, or just based on things that happen every day.

Crossfade – Invincible Lyrics

Well, personally, this reminds me of a situation I'm currently in. Basically, it's about someone that is falling in love with someone else, but they're really confused about it, because it's never happened before. The line "Just when I think I'm invincible, you come and happen to me." Describes the person's feelings about how their life was before they met someone else that was worth living your life for. That was kind of confusing. Let me explain. Basically, the singer thought they had everything figured out, and they were living life for them, feeling untouchable, when all of a sudden, they meet this amazing person, and they fall for them. Suddenly they realize that it's possible to live life for someone else, to share it with someone else. That's something that makes you feel very vulnerable.

I actually kind of think that the kid who was abused came back to the priest as an adult and killed him. Based on the line "Whisper, whisper, don't make a sound, your bed is made, and it's in the ground." It sounds kind of like he came to the priest and said "Shh. Don't make a sound" then killed him. Kind of like the priest did to him as a child, telling him not to tell anyone. I'm sure people will disagree with me, but hey, that's what opinions are for :)

Oh wow... This song... It's absolutely fantastic. I do believe that everyone is right in saying that it is about abuse by a priest to a young child. I think that if the new album is even half as good as this song, I will be in Billy Talent heaven.

This song isn't really about Jareth declaring his love for Sarah. This is about how throughout the whole movie, he's tried winning her love and making her forget about what's truly important. In this song, he's finally saying "I've given you my everything, and all of me, but I know that's not enough, and you'll not love me. This is one last attempt. Please. Love me. It's not enough for me to live just within your memory."

This song is absolutely beautiful. Someone who is alone and sad all the time is constantly thinking of suicide, but they know they shouldn't do it, because there's that one person out there for them that will make everything better one day. One night, it just gets to be too much, and they attempt suicide, as they're dying, they see a face, the face of the one person they love, and know that there really is a reason to hang on.

Within Temptation – See Who I Am Lyrics

You know. Originally I thought this song was about two people who were in love, willing to face the world against all odds, together. Now. While I still believe it is about two people who are in love, I see it a little differently. They love each other, but one is kind of pushy, and is trying to get the other to say and do things they're not ready for. Eventually, the pushy one realizes it, but not before losing the one they love. It may be for a short period of time, it may be for forever. Point being, at least the pushy one can learn from it and not repeat the mistake with someone else.
