Amazing Song. Tom is amazing. I wish he could read these comments to see how much his music has affected my life. I have loved every single song by him. This album is more than music. Its just everthing. When I listen to it I feel like I can do anything. It makes me want to scream out the lyrics as loud as I can for as long as I can. But one thing that I would love to do is meet Tom. It would be the greatest thing. I would do anything to just spend one day talking to him. About everything. All of his music and all of it. |

Originally this song didn't actually have a title. When they were recording it though, Mark was stoked on the term "Dick Lips" and was calling everyone it during the recording session. And when their producer asked Tom(he wrote the song) what the title was Tom didn't have an answer. So Mark said Dick Lips. Tom loved it. They were originally going to come up with a better name once the record actually came out but they ended up liking and keeping it. |

Ok first of all guys, this song is not about death. It's about the breaking up of the band and how things just go on and theres nothing really you can do. If you watch this music video its basically bits of all Blink-182's videos put into one. Its the most sad video I have ever watched in my entire life. Everytime I listen to Blink-182 I just get sad and wish that they were still together. Thomas Matthew Delonge is an amazing musician. As are Mark and Travis but I have always loved Thomas. And I always watch the video for "The Adventure" by Angels and Airwaves and I think to myself, how could Tom actually have become what he is in that video. He is so much less carefree and laid back and the video is trying to be deep and semi-"emo" but Tom just cannot pull of being so serious. I mean sure he has got his serious side but its not that much and with his hair semi orange and whatnot it just doesnt work. I wish he would get back with Blink-182. I know you grow up and get married and have kids and all that and people think you have to become more serious, but when his kids grow up a bit more and watch each of his Blink-182 videos and then the angels and airwaves videos I can almost garantee that they would rather have a dad like the one in Blink-182 that how he has become. I know I sure as hell would. But I guess theres nothing that I can do really about it I just wish he would see that everything was better when he was with Blink-182. |
