idk i guess the school thing makes sense, but when i listen to it, i think about a relationship. maybe they are in love, maybe they rnt, but either way theyre not on the same track. he wants to get serious and make a future, she wants to have fun and live in the present.
Neither person is wrong, but the relationship will never work since they will never be on the same page. sometimes love isnt enough. its the hardest thing in the world to leave someone when you still love them, even if you know its right (i would know :-/).
i know that this isnt what the song is really about, but thats what it means to me. |

this song is really beautiful, and sad. iv listened to it like a million times. everytime i hear it, i think about my ex bf. i feel like im the girl in this song, and this is a letter he wrote to me... only he would never give me a letter cuz that would require seeing me, which is much too proud to do.

DEFINATELY one of my favorites.. the best line in the song is wen he says "And if you want to talk about it anymore,

I'm a friend." his voice is so unique and passionate...
This song makes ME cry, because it reminds me that i have nobody whose shoulder i could cry on. iv just recently given up the only person who ever meant anything to me.

OMG i LOVE this song. This girl he sings about is me... i just broke up with my boyfriend cuz im leavin for college in the fall. There were a lot of other things that he will never understand too, and this song just says it perfectly. Before i heard this song, i felt like i was wrong, for wanting to leave with no strings attached. but now ims tarting to wander if its so wrong to want to start over. i hope this doesnt make me a bad person, despite what he thinks... |
