This is brilliant writing. I don't have time to delve too deep into it. I feel that it is about recognizing the difficulty, the possible impossibility of our dreams coming true and yet holding out. Who knows why but we feel that we can eventually get what we want. This song really captures the pain that one goes through to achieve their goals. |

It is way too easy to say this song is about the political situation in China...
This is Axl having fun with the fans. He says he is going to take as long as he wants and there is nothing we can do about it. We will end up hearing it from somebody else (in the form of leaks).

Love this song.
Seems to me it is about the breakup of the old band. Axl admits he wronged the others but it was too late by the time he realised it. Then he goes on to talk abut the lawsuits between the old band and him. |

It sounds like a crippled person but maybe notso literally(Christopher Reeves).
I think this person has crippled himself with the way that he feels about his body,life,etc. he isn't able to do what he wants because of this but he knows that it is all in his mind and he can change. it is so beautiful and powerful. At least that is how I see it because I can kind of relate(who hasn't felt that way at one point in their life) |
