In Disturbeds version it sounds like he's vodeling, and the guitars aren't as good. In the version Genesis does, it's just......boring to listen to. It's slow and there's not as much there musically. |

I like the In Flames version because the instrumentals are so much better than the genesis version. And the vocals have more feeling in them than Disturbed one. They sound more...desperate. Anyways, I love still like disturbed, I just don't like their cover the best.
And as for Genesis, they're the same group who wrote songs such as "illegal alien" so while they get kudos from me for writing this song, they could have made it better. |

I think part of this song, especially the beginning, has to do with something that you believe in, but nobody else believes in or believes you about it. So he is choosing the suffering of going against the majority and following what he believes is right, even if he gets nothing but pain from it. |
