I'd edit these if i knew how to, so if you do, go ahead and fix these problems. 1.) instead of "lonely ghost doesn't tell merry old William" it is "the unholy ghost doesn't tell Mary or William" 2.) instead of "the house that we drew" it is "the house on Ridge Road" 3.) instead of "tell me you're left behind" it is "tommy, you left behind" 4.) instead of "but if you gained the world" it is "what if you gained the whole world" 5.) instead of "Their home is in daddy who's saving you random tonight" it is "They're home missing daddy who's saving the world tonight." 6) instead of "Where's your drink..." it is "wish your drinking would hurry and kill you" 7.) instead of "...to carry on his cause" it is "...to carry on his cross" 8.) instead of "we'll grow better..." it is "we're no better..." |

in reply to the last two posts...i understand what you're saying, i've felt that way about other bands, just not anberlin. I love these guys and have seen them live countless times. They put on the best shows. However, it's your right to feel how you want, so thats cool with me. But yes, the first two songs (godspeed being the other) are unbelievable. This song i think is about a new love in his life. Something was not alright at first, idk what, but things are gonna get alot better now they're together. Alot like me and my girlfriend now. We had to go through some rough things to begin our relationship because one of my best friends had feelings for her. And i had to talk to him and tell him about the unbelievable connection she and i had. it sucked, he was mad. but "things are gonna change for the better" she assured me. |
