This is what I get from the screaming at the end... Holy boy you try... ????? to life. Yeah, I can't really make out much of the first part with the guitar/synth over top of the vocals. Love this song though. |

| to me the song is almost like she is singing to someone, someone who shes loved that is dying. kind of like a lullaby, but not. when i think of it like that all the words and lyrics seem to make sense. they're saying goodbye but neither of them really wants to go. | |

i think this is about the journey out of egypt...mainly because of the chorus of the song. "I'll take my heart back and set the people free I'll leave the dead to die and take who's coming with me I'll take my heart back and set the people free I'll leave the dead to die... there will be blood in the streets." the dead are the people who no longer believe, the blood in the streets refers to passover and the plague. just an idea. |
