I don't see how noone has said anything about "raising cain" being in the lyrics. Raising Cain was a movie released in 1992, with the story following a child psychologist who kidnaps children. The movie was rated R. Just like the album this song's on, obviously. |

| I read this as the character is calling up his ex-girlfriend to have sex with even though they're not dating anymore. By saying he's "not the only one who will run with a knife", he's refering to her doing stuff with other people and now him doing stuff with her. When he asks "where your daddy went", and him "running away", it's refering to the character himself and how le left her, him being the daddy, who "owned" or "had" her. | |

There is TWO versions to this song. The original appeared on the Kyuss/QOTSA split cd, and the newer version came out on Stone Age Compilations. The lyrics that Elin submitted are the correct lyrics for the Kyuss/QOTSA split version. The lyrics that bignique187 posted are the correct lyrics for the Stone Age Compilation version. Both are correct, depending on what you're listening to. |

Well, I'm guessing none of you will probaly believe me, but my little sister played a part in the video for this song. She played as one of the little girls, but wasn't the girl that was being focused on. She was one of the clones, or sisters. The video was pretty sweet. I was expecting the music to be better (I had never heard of Jakalope until my sister got to audition for the video). I read that Trent Reznor was having a say in the music and was a part, and I got excited about that because Nine Inch Nails is my favorite band. I was actually disappointed with the music when I finally heard it. I was expecting more of a NIN feel, but it is more pop than anything. Good band over all though. |

This is probaly my favorite track on nearly's debut release. i just love the sound; and this song just has this amazing feeling of dispair, and betrayal; as if something has left you. By the way, I added all of nearly's lyrics off of reminder since NOONE had bothered to post lyrics ANYWHERE on the internet. i can't believe hardly anyone's even had comment's on jerome dillon's songs! they're just plain... beautiful. |
