The Used – Choke Me Lyrics

This song is sooo awesome. The Used really know what's pleasing to the ear. Love it. i can say that the song's quite self-explanatory, he's kind of at war with himself, in a paradoxical way: "down straight up." The box reminds me of the box of sharp objects. I'm just a bit unsure about the whole "fuck my ass" bit at the end... |

Hands down, my absolute favorite BN song to date...with the exception of the entire new album, which is simply amazing. I agree with MC...excellent analysis. |

Arter - what you said about the concrete and drowning thing made me think of "Jaws Theme Swimming" -- "concrete and water..." |

Evaline – Where the Fearless Hide Lyrics

no comments!?! This song is amazing. They're being managed/produced by Quinn Allman from The Used and I first heard this song on their myspace. But I think this song is about not letting people have a hold over you, do what you want and "numb their bitching." |

I agree GoodRiddance11, it does kinda remind me of "St. Jimmy." I love this song. It's amazing when you see it live. Billie dances and jumps around all over the place. Definitely a fun song. |

Brand New – Logan to Government Center Lyrics

Yea it was weird cause I took the T and I saw Government Center and Logan Airport (as previously stated) is an airport in Boston. Do they have any connections here? Or did they just randomly decide to sing about Boston? |

The Used – Blue And Yellow Lyrics

Love this song. I watched in an interview that it was about a disagreement between Bert and Quinn, and this song came out of that. Amazing lyrics.
Did anyone else notice that "Greenery with the Scenery" is the next song on the album? (blue and yellow makes green) |

Taking Back Sunday – I'll Let You Live Lyrics

This is a really good closing for an amazing album.
Anyway, i think it's talking about all these vices that someone has, ("Came as a gift from a good friend (a good friend)
That dissaproves (but understands)
To represent and actively encourage all of my worst habits
They all are proof that we are both capable
Of the most terrible things
Don't test me") or something that happened that was particularly negative. He feels far away from the person because (s)he doesn't understand that "there's no stopping" him. |

Green Day – Reject Lyrics

greendaygirl2: I just want to say that you said that very well. It made so much sense to me when I read it.
And I love the new album too. Dedicated fans of Green Day should like them unconditionally, not only when they make and Dookie- or Nimrod-sounding album. |
