Alice in Chains – Rotten Apple Lyrics 19 years ago
Although I agree with that Adam & Eve theory, I found another meaning in it, at least for me. The line says "Eat of the apple, so young", and the name of the song is Rotten Apple, so I take it to also mean that early in life is when you're at your most corruptible.

A "mask of sanity" is when a serial killer lives his normal life in between acts of murder.

Ozzy Osbourne – Devil's Daughter Lyrics 19 years ago
This may not be related, but isn't it when there's rain but you can see the cloud that people say "the devil's daughter is getting married"?

Audioslave – Heaven's Dead Lyrics 19 years ago
I haven't figured out the entire song, but by:

I’ll take it all, arrows or guns
Hundreds or more to save you from one

He means that he'll take hundreds of metaphorical arrows and bullets as long as the girl doesn't have to take any.

Audioslave – Yesterday to Tomorrow Lyrics 19 years ago
Actually, after thinking about this even more, it seems that instead of neglecting his friends and family, it's about a rock star neglecting his fans simply for the love of his life.

Audioslave – Yesterday to Tomorrow Lyrics 19 years ago
-First off, the IMO's are implied.

Beauty is what the eyes behold
And you burn brighter than most

-He thinks that the girl is the most beautiful unique thing he's seen.

I chased you through the midnight streets
To be where I could speak freely

-He neglected and tried to get away from people he knew just to be able to spend time with the girl.

I didn’t care what tomorrow held
I felt the world turning only for us

-He didn't mind neglected his friends or family for the girl. He felt as if the two of them were the only ones on earth.

Only bliss now for you and me
Rise up let life’s kiss send us reeling

-They both became mad in love with each other.

-The first verse seems to be the "Yesterday" in the title. It's how they met, which explains the past-tense used.

And unlike the times before
From yesterday comes tomorrow

-His relationships never seemed to last, but this one persevered for a long time.

When life comes alive the past moves aside
No regrets and no remorse

-Despite neglecting family and/ or friends, he feels "No regrets and no remorse" since his life now feels worth living.

We have more than everything
More than man or machine
More than luck
More than fiction
Higher than any religion

-They both are truly in love with each other. They haven't felt this way ever before and know that it's "more than luck." He even goes as far as to say that it's "higher than religion."

-This verse is the "Today" in the song. He's saying how it feels at the moment.

*chorus*

We’ll squeeze the blood out of life
And say goodnight to the silver of old

-They leave their pasts behind to take complete advantage of where they are now.

Even when wrong we’re right
Far beyond the world of diamonds and gold

-Even when they make mistakes, they don't mind them. Their relationship is literally something that money can't buy.

I’ve come to realize
Where happiness lies
I want you to know I know

-This one tripped me up a bit. At first I thought he meant, basically, "Bros over hoes." But after playing with it more, I think it means that even though his friends and family might not have appreciated his act of ignoring them, he feels the relationship is worth it.

-This is the "Tomorrow" of the song, of course. He's seeing the future of the relationship.
