So, she made a deal with a dark witch, which had drove her away from home, since she was exonerated by her father, the Atlantis' majesty himself. And she was sad and took comfort with her friends... And then she saved a little boy from drowning and she fell in love. The song is inconclusive. Therefore, it is to be continued. So obvious! :P |

I think njguyfla is right, but without all the metaphors. The gun is a gun and the guy could be a gay in 1963. If we witness prejudice these days, imagine 45 years ago. And I talk about self-prejudice, about a person not accepting (her)himself as (s)he is. Then, unable to accept the truth, he, in the song, decide to kill his lover interest, so he wouldn't be tempted and could live his life with his wife. The afterwards would be story yet to be told. |
