Billy Corgan – DIA Lyrics 19 years ago
lol i agreewith stupid_name

as to the meaning of the song, i think it speaks about a broken relationship, yes, but it has like two parts... so the first is when they're trying to solve their problems "we'll get out right and follow this heart"... and he wonder whether the relationship will continue, but in the end it doesn't work out ("we'll get out right and swallow this heart") because despite all the effort, the beliefs and screams he held, he was dragged to the hollows, and chose alone the loss.

So apparently he would have been the one who left her, or lingered too long...

Billy Corgan – Walking Shade Lyrics 19 years ago
can this song relate to drugs? i hate to think about it but

"I just want you so
anywhere I go
the chase, the bells below
taken from my soul

on the 9th day God created shame

I’m out walking shade "

craves for drugs and feels ashamed? and is thin as a walking shade?

"nothin’s faced" = escape on drugs.

"I just want you so
you’re everything although
the risk is getting close to you "
= doesn't want to become an addict?

I need to find another interpretation cause this one is ruining the song for me :P and it fits so well!

Billy Corgan – Mina Loy (M.O.H.) Lyrics 19 years ago
i think that many songs written by billy present this problem, of whether he belongs to the world or not, ... especially opf course MUZZLE.
I think it must be hard for someone so particular to feel belonging to this world, though he tries so hard... but finally i think he has resolved not to change, ,,, "all i wanted what to be a man and since i gave up i feel free"

Billy Corgan – Mina Loy (M.O.H.) Lyrics 19 years ago
i think that to interpret this song so specifically makes it lose some meaning...
what i believe is that from a specific situation... such as inspiration in mina loy's poems, life, etc... futurists, terrorists or whatever, this song can take a feeling and then write a song about the feeling so that people who don't know mina loy or are not living a terrorist threat can anyway relate to the words... as i do.. and what i feel is that the song speaks about being a minority or feeling lonely in a world, ("on the shelf unsung?"), which is a threat for us innocent wounded souls, people who go about with true feelings etc. while other really don't care about anything (so this can apply to terrorism and many oither things), thus "killing" the intention of "us" (people step on others), but anyway he resolves not to give in to the ... ways of the world because that would be turning into a mean person, so he'd rather keep on being sensitive and suffer...

But the problme he finds (i hacve it too :S) is when he suffers, it's just too much for him, so that's why he wishes to pass his heart onto something else, to share the way he feels and i think that probably he thinks that mina loy would have understood him or senses they feel the same, but she's dead now so he's just one wish away from her.. or from other people who might feel the same.

His heart is old as in "weary" .. (... mmh disarm, stumbleine... "always old, always feel this").

OK!! so probably this is not the really "correct" meaning, but this is what i feel when i listen to it, what do you guys think?

Radiohead – Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was Lyrics 19 years ago
for me the saddest part in the song is with the bubbles, i feel like he;s withdrawing, not wanting to be hurt again (by life itself, not by any particular situation), and in the process of becoming tougher he thinks "i could burst a millon bubbles", like i could be so lively, i could say so many things, so beautiful and fragile.... :S but now i-m gonna stay inside..

Radiohead – Backdrifts (Honeymoon Is Over) Lyrics 19 years ago
i always thought he was speaking about lovemaking... with somebody he had been with for too long and now everything was damaged and rotten and backwards but they got nothing more to lose so they keep going, like they accept their own rottenness and make love out of it :), she falls into both their arms..

Radiohead – Anyone Can Play Guitar Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is a wish and it-s criticism all together: the wish of being completely sefl sufficient ("if london burns ill be standing on the beahc with my guitar") so that whatever happens it'll be the same for him, he has his guitar, his little world, and that's all that matter...
well apparently then from what i learned in previous comments this is all ironic but i like to think of this song as a strong desire towards inner peace
