| Conor Oberst – Lenders in the Temple Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
The line about the mandala erased by the sea, and all we are is colored sand seems to be about buddhism. The buddhist monks make these exquisite and complex sand pictures with amazing shading and religious imagery. When they are done they let it stand for a few days for people to pray around then they take brushes and mix up their beautiful art. It is to remind us all how fleeting we all are and that nothing is permanent which i think is what conor was trying to get at with that verse and possibly in the song |

| Bright Eyes – Bowl of Oranges Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song is just about how beautiful life is, even when things seem like they'll never work. Sometimes it takes an event, like the nightmare, to realize how beautiful it is. More people would see the beauty if they we're caught up in their problems and if the beauty of life was more obvious if it was framed like a piece of art. Im writing about this song for an english essay n_n | |
| Bright Eyes – Puella Quam Amo Est Pulchra Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The title of the song is latin. It means "The girl Who i love is beautiful" puella=the girl quam=Who(femine) its one of those pronounthingers xD amo= 1st person singular of amo, amare v-to love est- 3rd person singular of sum, esse- to be (is) pulchera= adj, feminine- beautiful. we actually had this line in latin class once xD 2 years of latin. anyways, this song is my favourite. i listened because the title was latin and i loved latin. It sounds like how this boy i know and i are really. like the loving and not believing part. |

| Muse – Unintended Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| My boyfriend calls me his unintended because of this song. He didnt intend to fall in love with me and had a bad experience in a past relationship that he just got out of. The lyrics are so true to our situation, it does seem the "she could never be as good as you" as a lyrical smackin the face to the ex girlfriend. | |

Mesmer was some guy who believed in the healing powers of an unknown physical property he dubbed "animal magnetism." and used it to heal people. according to answers.com. iunno how that could fit into the song though. the song grew on me because i didnt like it at first because it was so diffrent, but when i listened to the lyrics i started to love it. i agree with everyone who says its about sex |
