I think I could understand this song. Though I'm prbably wrong I can see it being about her missing the one she loves when he's over sees. But it's so hard to miss him because everyone she knows hates him. Without him, she feels small. With no one to understand, she feels even smaller.

This was the first song by The Lucksmiths I ever heard, so it's very special to me. I heard it at a time when I could really relate to it. Especially the line "I'm trying not to be so antisocial." But the line that really hits me in the gut is "I've woken up on one too many floors, But my favourite was yours." god, I love them. |

This may be my favourite love song. I love how Tali says "The kind that is made not handed to you from above". It makes the emotions real, they were created by two people. It grew. It does "libretto". The overblown makes sense too. Overblown means over written. He's saying that even the most overelaborate opera could never define or explain how he feels about this person. Truely beautiful. |
