This is probably my favorite song on the entire cd, I could listen to it over and over. I think it's about a man who has lost all of his addictions and self-destructive coping mechanisms and now he's left empty because it's all he's ever known. The angels would symbolize his better jugement on his previous behavior, the demons would stand for his past. He seems haunted and confused between the difference between right and wrong mostly because what was wrong before was technically right, and what is right now, doesn't quite feel like himself. well, that was a shot in the dark. |
