For me these bad things, the spy, leak etc are mistakes the narrator has done in the past, och maybe bad things about his earlier personality. Now he has found a girl, and the love between them has made him a better man, but he's scared that when/if the girl finds out about his past, she'll leave him. But she does find out, and they tacke these things one by one, and finally, the girl knows everything about him and still wants him. He can finally relax and be himself truely. |

About the Noah's Ark bit. The whole song is about hiding from love, because he doesn't want to be controlled by his feelings. My guess is that Noah's Ark simply symbolizes something extra-ordinary, but he does not want to get involved, he's hiding from love, and his eyes just glazes over. "Or better yet, I'll wear shades on sunless days And when the sun's out I'll stay and slumber" Sun=love, he shields himself from it. |

I totally agree with Felis. IMO it's clearly about a friend who's addicted to drugs. The Chorus is telling this friend that the singer will help him to get clean, no matter what it takes. "know that there is no escape from my snowbrigade" And snow being cocain and winter being addiction to it, makes this line fit it really nice. "we all know one day you'll leave behind your everything and feel the spring come" |

This song is written to richie (guitarist/songwriter who dissapeared, possibly suicide since he was depressed), saying that changes must be made or the band would follow him down wherever he went. Thats my opinion :) |
