| Um meanings? Also, i disagree, I prefer the EP version its far more atmospheric. Well this was written before the concept album (last day on Earth according to the Guardian), but maybe they had it in mind even then. If so, I think that some person has just found another scared person ('I'll hold on for you') and they are chattin' 'bout gettin duffed up by whatever is destroying Earth. I dunno, it just all fits in with the 'oh no we are all gonna die' stuff that the albums about..... | |

Well I read that Grand Unification is a concept album. Its a fantasy last day on Earth, and looking through the atwork and lyrics, it makes sense. I think some of the songs are accounts of various people on their last day alive. 'If I wake up On my own If something happens Please come home Wake me up before you go' I think someone is asking someone close to them to stay close. The rest of the song is more defiance of whatever is gonna kill everyone..... |
