This song is definitely about the Blackwater private army that the U.S. government contracted out to provide "security" in Iraq. The lines "black liquid" and "black water rising" indicate this to me. There are also references to at least one of the several infamous incidents in which Blackwater contractors fired upon civilians and killed them. Read about Blackwater online and I think you'll see why Randy sounds so pissed. |

One of the only good songs on this album, I believe the phrase "sinister rouge" refers to the colors of the papal and cardinal dress, as they often wear a red colored robe/frock. |
