The music video seems like there was a teen couple who were really in love and he left her house one day and got in a car accident and died, but the lyrics are negotiable. the chorus, "What hurts the most was/is bein' so close And havin' so much to say And watchin' you walk away And never knowin' what could've been And not seein' that lovin' you Is what I was tryin' to do" if i didnt see the music video I would think that the couple was actually just friends and he was really close to her and he didnt want to fall for her because he didnt want to ruin what they had already "and not seeing that loving you, is what i was trying to do" and he regrets the fact that he didnt say more things expressing how he felt when the other person was alive. its cute, hits close to home, way to go rascal flatts, your still shootin out fabulous songs. |
