homerun homer, I care what it's about! I like listening to Busted. I like listening to Busted because they write their own music, they play their own instruments and you can relate to their songs. If all these losers care about is the kind of music people listen to then they must have extremely dull lives. We may be pathetic for "having no taste" but at least WE'LL grow out of it. At least we don't have to complain everytime something in life isnt perfect. |

Apparently, James wrote this about Kara Tointon, the actress he dated on and off for seven years. She dumped him the day after Busted split up because she was only using him and his fame to further her career. I can't relate to it but I think it's a beautiful song. |

At first, it reminded me off those holiday romances you have when you go on holiday for 10 and you spend 7 of them with a dude (or chick) who you just go out clubbing with and get hammered with and screw a couple of times before going home at the end of your holiday and because you live in different places you dont see them again. And then you look back a few years later and think "who were they?". But then that doesnt really fit into the whole mystery story of the album does it?? |

This song is NOT about a flaming stalker!!! It's apparently about Brandon having a crush on this guy in the year above called Andy in high school. And it certainly is NOT about an athlete! Ffs! Open your minds! Ever heard the expression "playing the fields"??? Thats what he means. "In the fields i remember you were incredible".... ie. With the girls i remember your were incredible. As in, he got around a lot... and then when he sings "in the match with the boys you think your alone" It means that this guy Andy was unaware of any boys liking him in that way because he wasnt gay... when he says "in a car with a girl, promise me shes not your world" hes saying inwardly to Andy to promise him that hes not so in love with this girl that hes not looking at anyone else or that hes not ever gonna swing the other way.... If you hate busted that much then why are on their lyric page? i mean, its a bit hypicritical isnt it? some of the stuff you say is really unnecessairy and people come here to comment on the songs and bands they like. not to find abuse. just because someone isnt like you doesnt give you the right to immediatly dislike them. people are different and have different tastes- why do you find that so hard to accept? busted write all their own music and are in fact influenced by some of the greatest punk/rock/metal bands in history. they play their own instruments and if you think they're talentless and can't appreciate their music then maybe you should go off and research girls aloud.... or the pussy cat dolls, maybe? |

this song evolved from james having "can't tell my friends cause they will laugh, my life is going down the path" stuck in his head for some, strange reason. then he thought that staff would rythmn better and thats when he remembered something that matt had told him about liking his science teacher (miss mackenzie) and the song progressed from there. but none of the events in the song actually happened in real life- unless matt did actually climb a tree outside her home. but there is an actual miss mackenzie and matt did actually fancy her. |
