I like how her voice sounds in this song. I'm not much into that full out pop stuff she's noted for singing, but this song makes me want to hold my head up high & forget about the negatives in life. I like when she starts holding the notes longer & raising her voice towards the end... |

This girl has an amazing voice. It's very captivating to me. I heard this song on someone's myspace page & it has since become a favorite of mine.
I think she makes it pretty clear that it's about people thinking you're perfect or wanting you to be perfect, but you want them to just see you how you really are & accept your flaws. She puts on a front for people ("I wear a halo") so she looks good for them, but she wishes she could just be herself. |

To me, it sounds like this song is talking about being a Christian. In today's society, it's hard to be a proud Christian sometimes, and I think this song is telling Christians to stay strong and keep walking the path, even when it gets hard, because in the end, you'll get everything you've longed for. |
