| Deep Purple – Smoke on the Water Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| this song was actually recorded as a filler so that they could complete the album. who would have thought that it would become the most known riff in the world? | |
| KoЯn – One (Metallica cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| on the MTV icon brian (or munkey? i dunno they are both fuking clones of each other) REALLY looked like he was struggling with even the first few bars of the solo. And they assraped it further by cutting it short, the main reason 'one' is such a masterpeice is because of the instrumental tillk the end of the song, and they cut the whoel thig out...... | |
| Iron Maiden – The Trooper Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| it wouldnt be about the native americans vs. english because it refers to 'russian fire'. | |

| Metallica – Seek & Destroy Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| senseless violence, the theme sorta ties back into kill 'em all also the BEST bass out of any of the oldschool metallica | |
| Metallica – Enter Sandman Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
song bout standard childhood bedtimes fears..nightamres..things in the closet, that old bag. maybe one of the members had problems with that sort of stuff when they where a kid. as for the music, i personally think the rob Truillijo version kicks ass..he added in a few bass runs that really add some flavour oh..and capricorn..next time you 'start on' a metallica fan i hope its outside a sold out concert hall |

| Metallica – Master of Puppets Lyrics | 20 years ago |

ok..first of all id like to say i think its sad that you bash each others opinions so much. opinion is just that your own PERSONAL interpretattion..but anyway second of all, to that guy with the religious ramblings and his comment bout the line 'end of passion play' tieing into the mel gibson movie 'the passion of the christ'...now lets think hmm metallica..master of puppets..1986!!! Pasion of the christ? 2004. CLEARLY no link third of all, to the guy that commented about how its similar to dOOm, i agree with that, my brother even mistook it for the dOOm theme when i was playing it, but there is NO POSSIBLE WAY Metallica ripped it off, once again MoP '86: dOOm mid '90's fourth of all it can be about any kind of adiction, 'chop your breakfast on a mirror' indicates cocain 'needlwork away' indicates heroin also in the MTV icon special James said that it he later relised AFTER writing it that it tied into his alcoholism anyways i dont understand why we need to argue over EXACTLY what it is about, any way it is and always will be a metalheads anthem ps. to the guy who questioned the 'ritual misery' line, i interpret that as the ritual of taking your drug, which is a misery to the adict..or an adict thats aware of his\her problem anyway |
