This song is relatable to me. This guy and I have been through our ups-and-downs together for the past 2 years. We've sort of had an on and off relationship since, but now we're trying it as friends. We can't seem to deal w/o eachother. Despite the fact that this guyfriend of mine is bi-polar and quite contagious, I love him. And he's sweet. And we have the weirdest kind of relationship but I couldn't imagine my life without him. Aww how friggin corny. But 'tis true, 'tis true. :) Go Mraz. |

x83: Hey dude, I reckon you're spot on. This guy and I could completely relate to this song. Call it our themesong, or whatever. Lol. But anyway, I think Mraz isn't implying that it's impossible to get her perse, but more, it's impossible for them to be together. They have a history they can't let go of. The memories of them together still remain. And even though they're trying a different path (because she had offended his faith and trust); nothing seems to change. Despite that, she still completes him. There is a part of him that is only exposed when he's with her. Yes. That's my take. :P |
