=O This is my favourite song from the album! It's a change from the screaming but you can actually hear Matt Heafy's true singing voice in this! Has anyone heard the acoustic version? I love it! There's absolutely no screaming at all, Matt even sings the screaming bits: 'You poisoned my life So I take this knife And I cut you out Cut you out'. Though I don't think you can download it as an audio, I heard it from a live footage from the Trivium website. www.trivium.org then go to media and select video, and then find the one named as 'Bootleg Video of Trivium "F-ing" around with acoustic guitars plays Dying In Your Arms' So what if it's on the radio, I'm sure every heavymetal band has at least one song which gets played on the radio. Plus this will get Trivium some new fans, as quite alot of people listen to the radio. And big deal if they ever have more than one song on the radio, different songs attract different people. Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr attracted me a couple of weeks ago, that's when I started to listen to Trivium. By the way Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr was on TV, not radio! lol Anyone who says I have bad taste in music is so WRONG! I listen to practically anything! eg. pop, rock, r&b, rap, metal etc.... my music taste varies! =P |

Oh, I forgot to mention I love the fast bits where they sing, 'All my life seems to be flashing in front of my eyes Run away from all the pain, all the pain of life' 'I want you to see what you've done to me crying out those eyes Run away from all the pain, all the pain of life.' I love singing along to that bit! (^_^) I love the guitar bits as well, Matt and Corey are amazing at it! I wish I could play the guitar! =( |

| I LOVE this song! One of my favourites from the album. I thought this song was about abuse, but suicide seems to suit it more! | |

OMFG doesn't Matt Heafy look so so so damn SEXY in the music video or what! I didn't think he could get any hotter than the 'A Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation' video, but I was wrong!! (^_^') I especially like the part where he sings, 'None will be found, it’s all toppling down .' He's so HAWT in that part! (that's just my opinion!) Love what he's done to his hair as well! The songs amazing as well, and here's my intrepretation of it- I think it's about the enivronment and gobal warming and stuff. I think he's talking about the heatwaves melting the icebergs and that there will be excess amount of water in the sea which will overflow and 'wash' everyone away, and we'll be drowning in the 'hell' that we made because it was our job to look after the environment, to recycle and reduce pollution etc. but not everyone is contributing to help. So therefore: 'Everyone will be washed away Drowning in the hell that we made'. 'Wash away impurities, wash away all that couldn’t be'. This part could mean that we've fucked up the world so much that it's just going to 'wash' us/our impurities away, and start over (maybe). eg. your drawing something and it's fucked up looking so you start again. Also this bit: 'None will be found, it’s all toppling down' I think is about everyone being dead and all the buildings collapsing and everything that people made will be demolished, and when the 'new' world begin, there will be no traces of 'impurities' left. Well that's my intrepretation, I know it's sounds abit gay, but that's the message I get when I listen to this song! Sorry for this being sooo long! It's my first comment I've written in this site so far! =) |
