I completely see the love part of this song which is the initial reason I fell in love with it but does anyone also see it as a somewhat break up song? Like, the guy in the beginning is singing to the girl, talking about how much he loves her and as the song goes on it seems like he is getting more and more desperate to convince her. And then all of his desperation comes out when the song picks up from the soft beginning to when it gets a harder sound ( use me as you will...) and that reminds me of him just begging her to stay. It's sad. Although I admit, I like the interpretation of it being a pure love song the most. It's beautiful. |

I take it as a summer romance lost. It fits with the whole Dusk and Summer theme. I think this is the absolute best song on the new album. It's beyond amazing. |

| I somewhat agree with Nixolas, about her leaving him because of someone else but I think that she may be leaving him because she (or someone else in her life) thinks that the other man is better for her, so she's playing the part of what others want her to do hence the name, "Cellophane Girl", not seeing through the crap that everyone is giving her and being with the person that she really loves. | |

Where was I when they handed out the knowing you are loved? My favorite line of the song. Otherwise I think it's pretty self explanitory, she's speaking of a loved one that's been away for awhile and how she's waiting for them to come back. My guess would be that this is about her husband Michael when he's on tour with his band Enation & how much she misses him, |
