i love this video and i understand how everybody at the hotel were their alter egos.. SO COOL. this song shines so much light on many situations. i cant get the chorus out of my head, and i keep picking up my guitar and playing it over and over. im just curious, nobody has mentioned the bunny suit thing. does anyone know what im talking about? maybe it wasnt a bunny.. but its some creature in one of the hotel rooms. what is it? what was going on? i know what it looked like to me but i want yalls opinion thx :) |

so thruthfully i have to dissect this song into sections but i mainly believe its about something .. maybe two people.. that were once together that are no longer together any more. when it fell apart it was sudden and impacted mjk alot. "ill move to heal as soon as pain allows so we can reunite and both move on together" reunite proves they were once together and it really is hurting him to the point of not being able to function even if temporary-- "by inch by loaded memory til one and one are one, eleven" -- think about the symbolism of the number 11 thats like two bodies standing next together but if they combined together they would solely be 1.. so until 1 and 1 are 1 they will remain seperate as 11.. "under a dead ohio sky, eleven has been and will be waiting" -- obviously somethingin ohio.. i was laying under the stars last night thinking maybe maynard meant "dead ohio sky" like where was God in the midst of all this? maybe at that time he sought for help (since we all know maynard had a christian foundation) and God didn't react fast enough to keep maynards faith.. so hes referring to God's powers as dead... and "eleven has been and will be waiting" -- theyre now separated but are waiting to get back together idk. i love this song. |
