This song could mean so many things, even the boys from the band said they aren't quite sure. I just think it means he sees a hot chick blah blah blah, somebody told him she 'had' a boyfriend who looks like a girl friend... that he had in feb of last year... most meaning he had long hair back then. I think. I love the third verse.
