Traci, I hear 'hide' the first time too. It's strange though, all the lyric sites I've looked at have said 'find' both the first and second time. Also (directed towards mcsqualor08 or anyone else who can answer), this might be a dumb question, but how can you tell that it is about LSD specifically? |

i dunno exactly what this song means, but this is my interpretation: this girl, marie, had a close relationship with someone, but that person lied to her and treated her badly. now she's just cold and unfeeling ("there's a hole where your heart should be" and "Sweet Marie, how cold your body can be") but if someone would just be truthful and caring to her, she would lead a happier life ("Oh you need to be loved"). she does want to be happier ("And on the hill she's begging for a harmony"), she's just having a tough time. i still have no idea what "Such a beautiful kiss in the face of fear, Such a beautiful song burns through your ears, She hides behind all my lies" could mean though... |
