I believe that you guys are overanalyzing the symbolism of the graveyard. While it COULD mean that he is making a contrast between dead people, and his quite alive and loving relationship, I believe this is not the case. Have you ever walked through a graveyard on a sunny day? I don't know about your cemetaries, but there a couple in my neighbourhood, both of them are quite beautiful. I imagine his setting as more of a park, or a clearing in a forrest, with a creek and tombstones, rather than a dark and dreary place where zombies are likely to rise from their graves. |
